On the 4th October 2007 Nuneaton Mountaineering Club (N.M.C) held a charity quiz night raising £100 to be split between the Mary Ann Evans Hospice and Edale Mountain Rescue Team.
Mary Ann Evans Hospice
We have tried to support out local hospice with an event about once per year. It is dependant on fundraising for most of its income. The cheque was handed over the Hospice by Debra Commins and Michele Kondakor.
Edale Mountain Rescue
We have also made donations to various Mountain Rescue Teams. We coordinated our December walk to visit the Edale Mountain Rescue Team at their base after the walk. It was quite a harsh day on Kinder Scout.
